I’m a founder and partner at SMOK Ventures where we fund earlystage startup founders (checks from €50k to €2M) based in Polandbut with global vision. We focus on software companies in gaming,AR/VR, fintech, martech and AI.

At ReaktorX pre-acceleration program (http://reaktorx.com) I lookfor first-time founders who understand their industry and want tobuild a sustainable company. Read more at TechCrunch (https://techcrunch.com/2016/11/14/warsaws-reaktorx-aims-to-help-busy-people-start-businesses/).

Previously I co-founded Filmaster.TV (acquired by Samba TV in2015) which provided Netflix-like personalization and analyticssolutions for the entertainment industry helping television and onlinevideo providers rapidly capture and analyse user preferences inorder to deliver a comprehensive picture of the audience and driveincremental admissions / viewership. After the acqisition by SambaTV I helped the company bring its products to the European marketsand scale the team from 4 to 40 in four years.

I helped found Startup Poland, a leading technology think tank inPoland and the community voice of Polish startups. I’m currentlychairman of the board of the foundation.

I also co-founded ReaktorWarsaw.com, a Bay-Area-style startupmansion where startups work, collaborate and network, home ofthe famous OpenReaktor events and ReaktorX pre-accelerationprogram.

I occasionally mentor early stage startups at Google for Startups, The Founder Institute, Huge Thing, mspark and other accelerators.

I was named one of fifty most creative Polish entrepreneurs by Brief in 2012. Probably prematurely.
