Cristian Rodriguez Chiffelle

Cristián is currently the Associate Director for International Trade and Investment at the World Economic Forum. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School, an LL.B. from the University of Concepcion, Chile, and a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he was an Edward S. Mason Fellow. Prior to joining the Forum, Cristián served as a Trade Diplomat for the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was responsible for negotiating bilateral investment treaties and free trade agreements, including serving as lead on trade and environment issues at the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations. He has formally represented Chile before the OECD, WTO, APEC and several UN bodies on trade, investment and the environment. Cristián is an officer (LT,rv.) with the Chilean Air Force, and a former professional ski patrol. He is a Chilean and a Swiss national.
