Grzegorz Zieliński, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Regional Director, Head of Central Europe and the Baltics.
He heads the Bank’s Resident Office in Warsaw and oversees all operations of EBRD in Central Europe and the Baltic States.
Mr Zieliński joined EBRD in 1998, from Ernst & Young, and became a banker in the Power, Energy & Utilities team in 2001. He had been responsible for the Bank’s activities in the power sector in Poland and subsequently assumed the Central Europe regional responsibility for the power sector.
In 2014 he assumed the responsibilities of the Poland Country Director, which were subsequently extended to cover the three Baltic States and later the three countries of Central Europe. He currently manages the entire business of EBRD in seven Central European & Baltic countries and five EBRD offices across the region.
Mr Zieliński has a degree in Business/Economics from the University of Gdansk, Poland, and a post-graduate certificate in European Integration from the EC Research Institute. He is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
